Zarcrossed Farm is a small warmblood breeding facility founded in 1994 and located on Washington State's Key Peninsula. Owned and operated by Kim Weindel Volhontseff, the farm focuses on classic Hanoverian and Oldenburg bloodlines and stands the imported Hanoverian stallion Allerhand. In 2003, Zarcrossed Farm expanded to breeding German Riding ponies and was one of the first West Coast breeders to present pony foals for inspection with the ISR/OLD NA registry.

Our emphasis has always been to produce sound and willing athletes and partners, with talent enough for professionals and trainability for amateurs. Our youngsters are pasture raised but also spend time in the barn learning independence. While they are typically inherently confident and bold, much time is spent exposing the youngsters to new things and experiences that will serve as valuable building blocks for later training.

Zarcrossed Farm offers stallion service, reproductive services for mare owners, basic handling and training, as well as dressage instruction thru Third Level. Prospective buyers and breeding clients are always encouraged to come visit and stay at the farm, meeting sire, dam, and siblings.
